Lighthouses were never built for calm days. They stand where land meets sea, where fog rolls in without warning, storms gather on the horizon, and ships need direction most. Their purpose is simple: to shine steadily, no matter the weather. Our faith often grows in much the same way.

There are seasons when the path ahead is clear, and there are seasons when uncertainty seems to surround us. Questions arise, circumstances change, and fear quietly begins to whisper. Yet God's Word answers those whispers with a greater truth:

"The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?"

His light does not always remove the storm, but it always provides enough light for the next faithful step. Like a lighthouse that never abandons its post, God's presence remains constant. He is our refuge when life feels overwhelming, our guide when the way forward is unclear, and our peace when the waves are high.

Fear loses its power when we remember who is leading us. No matter what lies beyond the horizon, the One who called us is faithful to lead us safely home.
