Standing at this overlook, I found myself searching for the edge of the landscape. There wasn't one. Mountain after mountain disappeared into the horizon. Lakes shimmered below like scattered mirrors. The sky stretched farther than my eyes could follow, and for a brief moment, I felt wonderfully small. Creation has a way of doing that. It reminds us that we are not at the center of the story. God is. Psalm 19 tells us that the heavens are not silent.

Every sunrise. Every mountain peak. Every cloud that drifts across the sky. Every valley carved over centuries. All of creation is constantly declaring the glory of its Creator. Long before a sermon is preached or a song is sung, the earth itself bears witness to God's greatness. His fingerprints are written across every landscape. His wisdom is displayed in every detail. His power is evident in every mountain that stands unmoved. And yet, the God who fashioned galaxies beyond our imagination also knows each of us by name. That is the wonder of worship. The God whose glory fills the heavens is also the God who walks beside us each day.

When life becomes busy or our problems begin to feel overwhelming, creation gently invites us to lift our eyes. To remember that the God who holds the mountains in place is more than able to hold our lives together. Sometimes worship begins with nothing more than looking up.
