There are moments in every believer's life when the journey feels long. The excitement of beginning has faded. The finish line is nowhere in sight. Weariness whispers that slowing down, or even giving up, would be easier. Yet Scripture never tells us to run as fast as possible.

It tells us to run with perseverance.

As these horses pressed forward across the hillside, they weren't looking behind them. They weren't distracted by the terrain beneath their feet or the distance still ahead. They simply continued moving with strength, purpose, and determination. The Christian life often looks the same. There are victories to celebrate and valleys to cross. There are seasons of joy and seasons of waiting. There are moments when faith feels effortless and others when every step requires trust.

Through it all, one truth remains unchanged. Our eyes were never meant to rest on the obstacles. They were meant to remain fixed on Jesus. He is the One who began the work of our salvation, and He is the One who will faithfully bring it to completion. Every step we take in obedience, every act of faith, every quiet decision to trust Him moves us closer to the finish He has prepared.

The race before us is not measured by speed. It is measured by faithfulness. Keep running. Keep trusting. Keep looking to Jesus. He has never left the course, and He will not leave you.
